Mrs. Amy Re was born in Bucks County, PA where she attended Archbishop Wood High School. She earned her B.S.W. at LaSalle University and began her career as a crisis runaway counselor in Philadelphia. Later, she joined Catholic Social Services as an adoption and crisis pregnancy social worker. Her last position in this field was at Bristol-Bensalem Family Based Services working with high-risk teens and their families. When her first child was born, she made the decision to stay home to be a full-time mother. Eventually she was called to home-school which led her to the Living Bridges Education Program.

Mrs. Re and her six children were part of this faith and education community for sixteen years. For ten of these years, she was a teacher and
five years she served as the program’s Director. Also during this time, Mrs. Re earned a certification from the Institute for Excellence in Writing. She joined RLA in 2018-19 as a first grade reading teacher. From 2019 to 2021, Mrs. Re was the homeroom teacher for grades 3 & 4 and from 2021 to 2023 she was the grade 8 homeroom teacher. She and her husband Anthony raised their six children in Collegeville and have been parishioners at St. Eleanor Church since 1998 where Mrs. Re has enjoyed serving her parish in a variety of capacities including PREP and the Pre-Jordan ministry. Their youngest daughter Maggie is in the RLA high school class of 2027.
