Mrs. Suzanne Richard
5th Grade
Mrs. Suzanne Richard earned a Bachelor of Science in Child Development from Temple University and a Masters of Education from Neumann University. She has been a teacher for over 25 years with extensive experience creating and implementing education plans for children with various learning challenges. She understands that all children learn differently. Mrs. Richard was asked to develop a school readiness program for children of immigrant families and spent seven years dedicated to the mission of preparing English language learners for success in school. After that she committed several years working with inner city students. Mrs. Richard spent a year of her Masters studies in a Montessori school working with children and families from all over the world. She has taught at RLA since 2015 in both the Kindergarten and Elementary grades. Mrs. Richard views classical education as the best way to support the development of each child as a unique creation of God. She considers her greatest joys and blessings to be her husband, David, and their seven children. She tells them often that if she never accomplished anything else in life but to be their mother, that would be enough. They are long time members of St. Agnes Parish where she spent almost twenty years as a Catechist.
