RLA is the only classical academy of its kind in the greater Philadelphia area. We’re located in beautiful Berwyn, PA, a safe, quiet town full of Catholic businesses and walkable streets.

Student Life and Extracurriculars

Four Houses

Four Houses:

Starting in 1st grade each student is sorted into one of four houses, where they remain throughout their education. The House system provides students a micro-community within Regina Luminis that cuts across grade levels and introduces some healthy competition at school.

Aside from intramural sports, RLA has two official state programs in track and cross-country.

We also offer girls volleyball, boys and girls basketball, boys flag football, and boys martial arts.

Drama & Choir

Every student participates in singing and drama as part of a well-rounded education. These activities are not only an exercise in cooperation, but also enrich the student through creating beautiful music and productions.

Play is a vital part of education. Through play, students learn to navigate both the joys and challenges of real-life relationships. This protected social time allows students the chance to take their eyes off the books and behold one another.
